Your online consultation is safe, and protects your privacy using encryption technology for any personal information or images that may be shared between you and the doctor on the platform. During your tele-optometry consultation, we will review your current symptoms and concerns, which may include video chat and photo uploads. You may be asked about your health history, including medications you are taking, so please have this information on hand before your appointment.

Tele-Optometry Appointments

North Toronto Medical Optometry is excited to offer video-based appointments to our patients using the Doxy.me telehealth platform. Virtual Consultations can be used to reach our team via video calls, direct chat and photo uploads.

To talk to our staff, there will be no charge. If you require to be “seen” by a doctor, they will set up a “virtual consultation” with one of our optometrists and a consultation fee will be applied to this appointment.
